Mystery Bottle of Sandy Hook Bay
Dug this up seining today, interesting bottle. No seams visible, nor dates. The metal plug had corroded enough to allow barnacles and sea lettuce to grab hold, as well as to give a home to several small slipper snails and a worm. Its filled with a mysterious brown liquid that appears to be ink, at some point I'll have to open it up and find out; for now though, it remains a mystery.
